Are You Protected?

Most systems use conventional web based databases, or worst yet this HIPAA protected data is in the “Cloud”, that gathers massive amounts of information including: name, address, phone number, social security number, and more. With identify theft being the # 1 crime in America today, privacy advocates are right to be wary of any new database that requires this sort of information and “claims” to be 100% secure. Even your primary software provider, their staff – even the cleaning personnel- could be a source for leaks in you or your patients’ privacy.
The fact is, even if these companies were able to guarantee 100% security, their systems allow anyone with access to search the entire database for anyone they want on a whim; regardless of whether or not such a person is of official interest. This type of gross invasion of privacy is becoming more and more pervasive and we are here to show that this does not need to be the case!
