Over the past decade we have been developing a system to combat all of the issues associated with the prescribing and dispensing of all Classes of medications. BioScriptRx has taken into account the multiple databases in use to combat different issues in a state or municipality. With our all in one solution, we guarantee 100% real time accuracy.
BioScriptRx provides real-time inter-pharmacy and inter-physician communication pro-actively at the time of dispensing using digitized comparative biometric fingerprint data transmitted in a highly secure, encrypted, anonymous fashion that ensures total patient privacy that meets HIPAA-compliant criteria. Biometric systems are installed in physician offices and pharmacies. A patient is scanned at the time the prescription is initiated and again when dispensed. Because we use biometrics, we are certified to e-prescribe all classes of medications. All other e-prescribing systems are incapable of doing so because in order to e-prescribe a Schedule II narcotic, a system must be certified and use biometrics. By biometrically scanning the patient at the prescriber's (physician) location and at the dispenser's location (pharmacy), only that individual patient is dispensed to and exactly what is prescribed. Only the formatted encrypted anonymous biometric data, assigned to a random unique highest-level encrypted identification code, resides on our server, and is temporarily linked to that particular electronic prescription, thus providing

immediate confirmation of the authenticity of the prescription and individual. HIPAA privacy requirements are completely met by BioScriptRx as no identifiable patient information is kept on our server. Any patient-specific information resides with the provider and pharmacy, where it always has, and as now, is only available to regulatory authorities with appropriate legal documentation and court request to the provider and pharmacy. Additionally, BioScriptRx prevents drug diversion by a real-time immediate alert to the pharmacist and physician (clinic, etc.) that there is an attempt, generally using false (often multiple) identification by someone to fill a prescription that is not theirs, to fill a prescription prematurely, to fill the same prescription at more than one location, or to fill multiple different prescriptions at different locations. With this alert, mutual contact information will be immediately provided to both the prescribing physician office and pharmacy, along with the unique customer identification code assigned to that particular biometric scan by the software, the prescribing directions and the date that the first prescription was filled.
